One Direction’s Harry Styles, who performed in San Jose, California, earlier this week, is the latest to jump on the trend with his floral-print Gucci shirt. This isn’t the first time the 21-year-old has sported the whimsical designs of Alessandro Michele: Just a few weeks ago, the British heartthrob sported a toile-print suit from the Italian house. The look recalls the elegance of Bowie and has the rock ’n’ roll edge of Keith Richards to boot. Those wanting to try their hand at the style should take cues from the singer and pair with skinny jeans (Styles’s are by Paige) and weatherworn boots.
